The CNRS Research Network « Molecular Imaging Agents » (GDR AIM) :
Website: http://gdraim.cnrs-orleans.fr/
The GDR AIM network brings together French research groups developing chemical tools for imaging. Their complementary expertise enables the identification and resolution of key scientific challenges, thereby supporting the development of molecular imaging and theranostic probes for applications in optical imaging, nuclear imaging, and magnetic resonance imaging. These developments aim to:
(i) facilitate early diagnosis, characterize disease progression, and evaluate treatment efficacy in clinical settings;
(ii) provide advanced investigative tools for biomedical research.
GDR AIM Scientific Days
These scientific days are an annual event organized in rotation by the members of the network. They are typically hosted by a university, are free of charge for participants, and provide an opportunity for early-career researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) to present their work through oral communications or poster presentations. Over the past three years, each edition has been dedicated to a guest country or group of European countries, represented by several plenary speakers from these nations. This initiative aims to foster international collaborations in the field of molecular imaging and to enable young researchers to expand their professional network.
